Dr. Cummings from Rochester Institute of Technology is conducting a study on the very important topic of diversity, specifically diversity within the graphic communication industry. The last study she conducted was on women in this industry, but now she is focusing on diversity. If you are a member of the graphic communication industry and decide to take part in this study, thank you in advance for your participation in her study.

The question of how diverse the graphic communication industry really is is becoming increasingly important. As the field continues to expand and the skills offered become more competitive, having a diverse workforce may become more necessary than ever before to succeed in the ever-changing world of graphic communications. More and more employers are looking to find employees who are as diverse as the needs of the graphic communication industry in an effort to build their business bases. This study is being conducted as an attempt to get an inside look at diversity within the graphic communications industry. Whatever outcome is a result of this study, it will help to greatly contribute to the research that has been done on this important topic of diversity within this growing industry.
